Update 3-7-18: Here’s a link to my post with the new Scion T10015 head unit install.

New Scion T10015 Head Unit

I just purchased a used head unit for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. It’s commonly known in the 4th Gen 4Runner community that various Scion head units are a direct fit for our radios. After playing around with a couple different head units, I have had my eyes set on a T10015 head unit. It’s one that can be found on some “newer” Scions, but I’ve always had a hard time going for one. This is because they normally are found on eBay for at least $200 and are sometimes in poor condition.

One day, I found a new listing and was able to jump on and purchase it for $90 with free shipping!

Here it is in all its glory… I couldn’t believe how clean the unit looked.

Now, I need to make sure I have all the correct connectors and harnesses to make full use of the unit. Some advantages to this newer model is the ability to use the phone via bluetooth. It also has the possibility of linking my rear view camera to this screen. More to come…
