Hand cleaner is a useful product to have on hand (no pun intended) in the shop. If you’ve ever found yourself with oil or grease on your hands and using soap wasn’t enough, you’ll know that the only thing that can truly clean your hands is a pumice cleaner. Fast Orange Hand Cleaner is a bit more abrasive and is very effective at getting oil and grease off of my hands.
At home, I’ve slowly been making the switch from regular keyed door locks, over to electronic door locks that utilize a keypad. This makes it a lot easier to lock and unlock the doors to our house without the need to carry around a physical key. This has worked out well for us at home, soI decided to install the same thing in the garage.
I’ve gone through a number of different earphones and headphones over the years, but I’ve had these Soundcore Anker Life P2 Earbuds for a long time now. Anker has come out with an upgraded version from the one that I have pictured here that costs a little under $30. I wanted to share my experience with these earbuds as they’ve lasted a long time for me and have served their purpose well.
My curiosity is always picqued whenever I walk by the automotive aisle of Costco and see a new product on their shelves. I spotted a really nice looking shop stool called the Koda Ultra Cushioned Pneumatic Shop Stool. I knew I had to pick one up and try out. This stool is also sold on Amazon as well.
Aside from the looks, the other issue associated with the small base is the instability of the stool itself. This is a common complaint on this stool, which is the higher likelihood of you tipping over if the wheels hit something on the floor. Even if the KKTONER PU Rolling Stool was really nicely made and had the nicer casters that I was looking for, the super-small base would be a deal killer for me.
Aside from some of those downsides, it is really, really hard to beat for the price. The WEN Rolling Stool doesn’t claim to be something high end. It’s just a simple, cheap, easy to put together, decent quality rolling mechanic stool. If that’s what you’re looking for and nothing more, then this is the one to get.
MUCAR is a seller of OBD2 scanner tools that allow you to scan, research, and clear codes. They also offer additional diagnostics software you can download to the scan tool. I received this device, the MUCAR CDE900 Pro from MUCAR in exchange for a review. So, I will do my best to talk about my experience with the device so far, both good and bad.
A couple months ago, I did a review on MUCAR’s JS501 2-in-1 Jump Starter/OBD2 Scan Tool. I found it to be a useful tool that comes in really helpful when you need to check for engine trouble codes or if you need to jump start a dead battery. MUCAR supplied me with their more powerful JS502 Jump Starter with OBD2 Scanner, which is essentially the same unit but with a higher capacity battery and more powerful jump starter for bigger engines.
As opposed to a thermal imaging camera that connects to your phone, which will likely give you a better display image (utilizing your phone’s display), it won’t be as easy to use as a handheld one like this TOPDON unit. The TC004 has a great build quality that is easy to use and handle, and it has many useful features especially for the car DIY’er.
