Zep Cherry Bomb Hand Cleaner: Amazon / Walmart
Whenever I run out of hand cleaner, I find it to be a good time to try out a new one. I’ve mostly gotten the orange-type of hand cleaners, but I noticed this cherry-scented one that gets lots of good reviews. This is Cherry Bomb from Zep, an industrial hand cleaner that a lot of people seem to like.

I tend to prefer the orange-scented hand cleaners instead, but if you prefer cherry-scented products, then this might appeal to you. Me however, I’m not a big fan. The cherry-scent reminds me too much of some old cherry-flavored cold medicine.
Cherry Bomb is what I’d call a mild hand cleaner, as it comes out with a more fine grit to it. For this reason, it is more gentle on your hands which some might consider a good thing.

Even though this is what I’d call a gentle hand cleaner, it still does a good job of scrubbing grease and oil off your skin. Sometimes, it might take a second pump of hand cleaner and scrubbing to get all the grease off. The texture of the hand soap is like a lotion with fine pumice, so you need to work it into your hands a bit to get your hands clean.

As you can see, it does a good job scrubbing away oil and grease, which is the primary purpose of an industrial hand cleaner. It tends to leave a bit of a slippery film behind like lotion does, which you may like if you like having the feel of lotion on your hands when you’re done. I personally do not, so after I use Zep Cherry Bomb to clean off the heavy oil/grease, I follow up with regular hand soap afterwards to leave my hand completely clean and grease-free.

I’d say Zep Cherry Bomb is a good hand cleaner that isn’t too harsh on your skin and gets the job of cleaning your hands done. The 48-oz tub of the hand cleaner is a pretty big size for less than $10, and it is lasting me a long time. I’m not a huge fan of the smell, but I guess it just depends on you. I guess my kids love the scent (and color) of it because they keep on using my Cherry Bomb instead of regular soap.
