Theese Flow State Waterproof Shoes: Weartheese.com

Recently, I got to try two different pairs of Theese waterproof shoes, which were provided to me by Theese to review. I’ve tested and reviewed their Flow State shoes, which felt very comfortable to wear and were indeed, fully waterproof. The shoes pictured below are the Theese Purpose, which I will be giving my review on below.

I’ve been trying out and reviewing waterproof shoes for some years now and I am a big fan of them. I don’t like wearing sandals or Crocs when I’m washing cars, as I prefer to have better traction and mobility while I’m washing my car. It just feels much more comfortable to have dry feet when you’re washing your car and it makes for an overall better car experience.

The Theese Purpose Waterproof Shoes are more of a style that I prefer as they are more of a low-profile sneaker. I also really dig the vivid blue color on these. The Purpose also comes in black, white, and vintage white color options as well. Looking at the shoe, you can probably say they look a lot like the Vessi Weekend shoes.

These shoes felt slightly thicker overall compared to the Vessi Weekend shoes. As a result, they have a more snug fit and offer a bit more support at the ankles. I am personally a true size 10.5, and the Vessi Weekend was a perfect fit for me at a size 10. With the Theese Purpose, a size 10 was just a bit too tight for my feet, so sizing up works better if you are a true half size.

The Theese Purpose has a breathable inner liner, that allows the shoe to regulate the temperature for your feet’s comfort. It also has a sealed membrane that makes these shoes 100% waterproof. The outer knit tops it all off with a premium look and feel.

This is one favorite looking shoes to wear right now. As I mentioned before, I really like shoes like my Vans, and this offers a casual but beautiful looking shoe. It looks great whether you’re wearing them with shorts or with pants on.

I tried washing my entire car wearing these shoes and when I was finished, my feet were still dry. They were comfortable to wear as they had a cushioned sole. They also offered plenty of grip, as expected.

I went further and doused the Theese Purpose shoes with a hose and even though the outer part of my shoe turned darker blue from being soaked, my socks inside of the shoes were still amazingly dry. The only part that got wet was of course the part of the sock that was not covered by the shoe.

Aside from their awesome waterproof performance, they also look really good on your feet. I love how they look and I think if you are closer to a full size, these shoes will fit you really well. Since I am a true in-between size, I can’t size down with these specific shoes as they are just a bit too tight, so I have to size up. The shoes are also very comfy and appear to be durable due to their material thickness and quality of construction.

The current price for the Theese Purpose shoes are about $145, which is a bit high in my opinion. I’ve noticed that fully waterproof shoes tend to command a higher price tag, but I do wish they weren’t so pricey. I believe Theese offers 10% off if you sign up for their email list, so you can get a bit of a discount there. It’s too early for me to say now if it’s worth the discounted price, as I would only be able to say it’s worth it if lasts. I’ll be continuing to use the shoe to see how it fares in terms of durability.
