It’s a great entry-level pressure washer and it has more than enough power if you’re doing any sort of cleaning on cars. The whole unit feels a bit plasticky and leaks a bit over time, but the motor continues to run and run. So, if you’re looking to get a workhorse of a pressure washer, the Sun Joe SPX3000 is a good medium-cost and great-performing option. Currently the SPX3000 is priced at $170, but I do see these being marked down from time-to-time to around $100-$120.
Undrdog’s The Purps Iron and Fallout Remover does what it is supposed to do. After spraying it onto the car, the iron is worked loose from the car’s surface and allows you to rinse it off using water. It does the job well, and I don’t have any complaints about the product.
There are some different styles out there of waterproof sneakers, but Brooks Running sells a 100% waterproof shoe called the Ghost 14 GTX. This is a running shoe that utilizes a GORE-TEX membrane to provide the waterproof shield from water. The Brooks Ghost 14 GTX comes in a black/red color scheme and offers a ton of cushion and support.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use and affordable blower to dry your vehicle, try out the WORX WG520 Electric Leaf Blower. This is probably one of the best-valued blowers in this segment and has enough power to get virtually your entire vehicle dry.
Meguiar’s offers a line-up of microfiber cutting and finishing discs that attaches to your typical hook-and-loop backing plate. Meguiar’s provided these products for the purpose of this review. Meguiar’s has two cutting discs and one finishing disc. I’ve tested these three discs and of these three, my favorite is the Microfiber Cutting Disc due to its all-around effectiveness when doing more serious paint corrections.
If you’re someone who does paint corrections, even if it’s the occasional one, this tool is an amazing device to have. It covers you whenever you don’t have that optimal lighting such as direct sunlight or good shop lighting to check the paint condition. I am really impressed by the high build quality of this paint inspection light and highly recommend it because of its incredible light output and color temperature customization.
Meguiar’s supplied me with their signature purple Endurance Tire Gel for this review. This tire gel is a solvent-based tire dressing that offers medium gloss, however it can be applied in multiple coats if you desire a high-gloss shine. After using this product on several vehicles, I can attest to the many rave reviews touting its performance and value. The tire gel offers UV protection for about 2-3 weeks, which is pretty typical. It also doesn’t appear to sling off the tires when applied properly. The price is right at about $12-$13 at the time of this review.
The best-bang-for-the-buck long-throw polisher is probably the Bauer Long Throw Polisher from Harbor Freight. This unit has a throw of 20mm (compared to a standard throw of 4-8mm) and comes with a 6-inch backing plate. The price at the time of this writing is $100, so you are basically getting a long-throw polisher for the price of a standard short-throw polisher.
To me, there’s just nothing worse than walking around in soggy wet socks when you’re trying to enjoy a nice time washing your vehicle. Vessi sells waterproof shoes that keep your feet completely dry, which are the perfect shoe to wear when you’re washing your car. They have awesome support and look amazing too.
