This review will be focused on a new waterproof shoe that I’ve come across: the Flow State shoes made by Theese. Theese is a new footwear brand that offers 100% waterproof shoes. At the time of this review, Theese offers two different shoes for both men and women: Purpose and Flow State. I will be writing a future review on the Purpose shoes, but on this review I will be focused on the Flow State. These black Flow State shoes were provided to me by Theese so that I could give my unbiased opinion about them.

After washing and detailing cars for 20-odd years, I’ve tried wearing all kinds of footwear over this time. When we didn’t have many options in the beginning, people would just wear sandals, regular sneakers, work boots, or even go barefoot! Heck, even today people still use these options. But in the past decade, we’ve seen so many more options come into the playing field, so there’s much more of a selection to choose from if you are looking for footwear to use when you’re washing your car.

There are some different styles out there of waterproof sneakers, but Brooks Running sells a 100% waterproof shoe called the Ghost 14 GTX. This is a running shoe that utilizes a GORE-TEX membrane to provide the waterproof shield from water. The Brooks Ghost 14 GTX comes in a black/red color scheme and offers a ton of cushion and support.

To me, there’s just nothing worse than walking around in soggy wet socks when you’re trying to enjoy a nice time washing your vehicle. Vessi sells waterproof shoes that keep your feet completely dry, which are the perfect shoe to wear when you’re washing your car. They have awesome support and look amazing too.
